ADIO Unveils New Talent Programmes To Cultivate Emirati Leaders In Industrial Sectors

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has introduced new programmes to boost Emirati leadership in key industrial roles. These initiatives, revealed at the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025, are part of Abu Dhabi's long-term strategy to enhance skills in AI, Industry 4.0, and sustainable manufacturing. The aim is to prepare UAE nationals for significant roles, fostering innovation and productivity in the emirate's manufacturing sector.

A key element of this initiative is a training programme focused on Industry 4.0 and sustainability. Developed with EDGE Learning Innovation Factory and TÜV SÜD, this programme emphasises automation, digital systems, and sustainable production. It aims to create a skilled workforce ready to lead next-generation manufacturing, with plans to generate 1,000 new jobs for UAE nationals by 2031.

ADIO Launches Programmes for Emirati Leaders

To bridge the gap between education and employment, ADIO is collaborating with the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). Together, they will host an Industrialists Career Fair during the Make it in the Emirates Forum. This event seeks to place over 100 Emiratis into strategic positions within Abu Dhabi’s industrial sector, enhancing national involvement in economic transformation.

In partnership with Rabdan Academy, ADIO will offer an Upskilling Talent Development Programme for more than 100 Emiratis already working in the industrial sector. This initiative aims to foster professional growth, increase productivity, and establish strong career paths for UAE talent across various levels.

Mohammad Al Kamali, Chief Industry and Trade Officer at ADIO, stated: "Our talent programmes are a direct investment in the next generation of nation-builders. By embedding critical skills within our workforce and unlocking global pathways for talent, we are reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s competitive advantage and enabling UAE nationals to lead the future of industrial advancement, not just locally, but globally."

ADIO’s efforts align with the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy 2031. They aim to embed world-class skills within the local workforce as part of Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a global hub for future-defining industries. These programmes represent a strategic approach focused on sustainable growth powered by local expertise.

Abu Dhabi is committed to building a resilient economy driven by knowledge and innovation. By investing in national talent through these initiatives, the emirate lays a strong foundation for its diverse economic future.
