ADGM Academy And DGE Mawaheb Expand Partnership To Build Future-Ready UAE Workforce
ADGM Academy and Mawaheb Talent Hub, supported by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, are expanding their strategic partnership to address shifting needs in the UAE labour market. The 2026 agenda targets 620 new job placements for Emiratis across diverse sectors, with a focus on long-term, sustainable employment opportunities in high-priority fields.
The partners plan to deepen their role in government and semi-government employability during 2026. Their shared objective is not limited to matching candidates with vacancies. The collaboration aims to build durable career pathways by aligning training with real workplace needs and equipping Emiratis with skills that remain relevant as technology and business models change.

The widened cooperation builds on joint work between ADGM Academy and Mawaheb Talent Hub that started in 2022. That collaboration has already generated more than 1,000 specialised roles in sectors such as banking, digital services, auditing, insurance, consultancy, and taxation. Through the ADGM Academy Job Centre, over 4,500 UAE nationals have been upskilled, reskilled and placed into sustainable jobs.
The Job Centre has consistently supported more than 1,000 placements each year, showing steady demand for the programmes offered. Around 61 percent of these placements have directly served Abu Dhabi’s labour market. This regional impact reflects the focus on high-value roles in key industries, matching Emirati talent with organisations seeking specialised capabilities across the emirate.
The expanded 2026 agenda introduces new industry-aligned programmes in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Fresh offerings include the Software Development Accelerator Programme, the Technology Infrastructure Programme, and the Strategic Business Intelligence Programme. These courses are designed to match rapid changes in market demand and provide Emiratis with future-ready skills in technology and data-driven sectors.
"Our expanded collaboration with Mawaheb Talent Hub, enabled by the Department of Government Enablement, is anchored in measurable success. As the UAE moves forward with its vision for a knowledge-based economy, our joint efforts have continued to set a benchmark for strategic partnerships and will continue to do so by driving sustainable human capital development," said Ali Al Mehairi, Senior Executive Director at ADGM Academy.
Dr. Abdulla Al Shimmari, Executive Director of National Workforce Enablement at the Department of Government Enablement and Mawaheb Talent Hub, said, "This partnership ensures that the talent we nurture through Mawaheb has a clear, accelerated pathway to sustainable employment in high-priority sectors, driving real value for both the candidates and the entities that hire them." The partners plan to build on existing results while adjusting programmes to meet evolving labour market needs across the UAE.
