ADGM Academy Celebrates Seven Years Of Excellence At Abu Dhabi Finance Week With New Initiatives

ADGM Academy (ADGMA) recently marked its seventh anniversary, highlighting its pivotal role in Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). The event, themed "Bridging Knowledge and Building the Nation," featured activities that underscored ADGMA's dedication to empowering the national workforce. A key highlight was "Pitch at the Capital," reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit fostered by the Academy.

During ADFW 2025, ADGMA signed eight strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent partners. These included the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Columbia Business School (CBS), and others. These agreements aim to enhance training pathways, strengthen digital capabilities, and support educational programmes in wealth management and technology.

ADGM Academy Marks Seven Years at ADFW

The Academy's partnerships extend its influence across key national sectors. Collaborations with government, industry, and academic institutions will introduce advanced training opportunities. They will also enable research initiatives and develop specialist educational programmes in areas like excellence and compliance.

Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADGM Academy, stated, "As we reflect on seven years of progress, ADGM Academy continues to enable the capabilities required for a competitive and resilient economy. Our work is driven by a commitment to quality and global standards, and by the belief that human capital is the foundation of sustainable growth."

The Academy's journey has significantly contributed to developing national human capital. Over 9,500 individuals have been trained so far. More than 6,000 job opportunities have been created alongside 3,000 graduates from soft skills programmes. Emirati entrepreneurs are also benefiting from Academy-led initiatives.

Focus on Leadership Skills

Esteemed international universities like INSEAD and Columbia Business School participated in the event. They announced ten scholarships each to advance national leadership skills in various fields. This gesture underscores their role as trusted allies in this journey.

The gathering during Abu Dhabi Finance Week brought together representatives from financial and education sectors. It provided an overview of ADGMA’s initiatives aimed at equipping learners with future-focused skills. Sessions highlighted innovation's importance alongside leadership development across the region.

The new MoUs signed during ADFW 2025 extend ADGMA’s impact across priority sectors. With esteemed partners committed to world-class education provision, they aim to advance AI, Quantum computing readiness among others.

The programme showcased collective efforts by ADGMA along with partners towards advancing national workforce development while celebrating individuals representing UAE’s future talent landscape.
