ADFD Launches First Live Radio Programme On Sustainability To Promote Environmental Awareness In The UAE

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has introduced "Sustainable Awareness," the first live radio show in the UAE dedicated to sustainability. This initiative aligns with the country's 2024 "Year of Sustainability" campaign. The programme aims to educate listeners on environmental, social, and economic sustainability while showcasing the UAE's commitment to sustainable practices.

Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of ADFD, expressed enthusiasm about the programme's launch. He stated, "We express our happiness about launching the first live radio programme on sustainability in the UAE, aligning with the country's efforts to preserve its development legacy and in line with the Fund's strategic objectives in building a prosperous and sustainable future for generations to come."

The "Sustainable Awareness" programme seeks to enhance public understanding of sustainability concepts. Broadcast on Noor Dubai Radio, the series will feature 13 episodes covering various sustainability topics.
