ADEX Highlights Financial Solutions To Support UAE Exporters At Ras Al Khaimah Workshop

The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), partnered with the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX) to host a workshop. This event aimed to showcase the services and financial solutions offered by ADEX, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD). The workshop took place at the Ras Al Khaimah Headquarters and was attended by private sector representatives.

Dr. Ahmed Al Shemaili, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, welcomed attendees. He highlighted ADEX's role in boosting economic growth and competitiveness globally. He also emphasised that the Chamber is eager to engage in initiatives that benefit its member companies and RAKEZ service users, aiming to improve business operations in Ras Al Khaimah.

ADEX Supports UAE Exporters with Financial Solutions

During the workshop, representatives from ADEX presented various financing solutions available through their office. They detailed requirements for obtaining finance and explained application procedures. The presentation also covered competitive advantages for exporters and foreign buyers, showcasing strategic partnerships between ADEX, local entities, and international financial institutions that bolster UAE exports.

Khalil Fadel Al Mansoori, Director-General of ADEX, stated, "Our participation in the workshop reflects our keenness to promote ADEX’s credit facilities, that are designed to empower Emirati companies in exporting their goods and services to global markets." He stressed that these efforts are vital for achieving goals outlined in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and supporting economic diversification as part of the UAE Centennial Plan 2071.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, remarked on the importance of supporting companies within Ras Al Khaimah for sustainable economic growth. He noted that these businesses are crucial for local economic development. By providing financial solutions to help them access global markets, new opportunities for growth can be unlocked.

Jallad further explained their commitment to facilitating business expansion across various sectors. This includes increasing exports and enhancing their contribution to economic development. Such efforts align with Ras Al Khaimah's ambition to become a leading hub for business and investment regionally and internationally.

The workshop underscored how collaboration between local entities like RAKEZ and organisations such as ADEX can provide innovative financial solutions. These solutions aim to assist clients, investors, and companies in overcoming export challenges while reducing trade risks.

This initiative reflects a broader strategy to establish new partnerships worldwide. It aims to enhance trade exchanges, stimulate economic activity, and support key industrial sectors' growth. These actions contribute significantly towards advancing UAE's economic objectives.
