ADAFSA Launches Innovative Learning Hub To Promote Agricultural Knowledge During Global Food Week
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has introduced the "ADAFSA Learning Hub" during Global Food Week. This unveiling coincides with the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE), held from 26th to 28th November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The hub aims to enhance agricultural knowledge and create a digital community for agriculture.
The initiative supports ADAFSA's goal of improving agricultural practices by connecting farmers and sharing best practices in agriculture, livestock, and food safety. The hub combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, interactive chatbots, and tools for irrigation calculation and economic feasibility assessments.

The ADAFSA Learning Hub offers a range of features to support agricultural practices in the UAE. These include specialised training courses, remote consultation services, a comprehensive digital library, advanced interactive tools, and an AI-powered chatbot. These resources aim to connect agricultural communities and reinforce food security across the UAE.
At launch, the hub will be available in Arabic and English, with plans to add languages such as Hindi, Urdu, and Malayalam. This strategy aims to reach a wider audience and further ADAFSA's mission of expanding global knowledge and fostering connectivity among agricultural communities.
The launch aligns with the "Plant the Emirates" initiative, which focuses on boosting local agricultural production and achieving food self-sufficiency. This initiative highlights sustainable agricultural practices and home gardening while promoting innovation in the sector. The hub provides users with guidance and intelligent tools to optimise resource usage.
Dr. Arif Kalantar, Executive Director of Development and Innovation at ADAFSA, stated that "The launch of the ADAFSA Learning Hub embodies the vision of our wise leadership and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan." He emphasised its role in promoting innovation in agriculture.
