AD Ports Group Achieves Record AED 17.29 Billion Revenue In 2024 Amid International Expansion
AD Ports Group reported a significant financial performance in 2024, with revenues reaching AED17.29 billion and EBITDA at AED4.51 billion. This represented growth rates of 48% and 69%, respectively, compared to the previous year. The Group's annual report highlighted its successful integration of two major acquisitions and an accelerated international expansion strategy, which contributed to increased profitability.
The Group's strategic acquisitions included Noatum, a global logistics leader, and Global Feeder Shipping (GFS), a regional container shipping company based in Dubai. These integrations were part of AD Ports Group's broader expansion efforts, which also involved securing terminal concessions and logistics facilities in rapidly growing trade corridors such as Egypt, Pakistan, Angola, Tanzania, and Georgia.

AD Ports Group expanded its global presence through strategic acquisitions across Africa, Europe, and Central Asia. It enhanced its network of ports and terminals with new concessions in Egypt, Pakistan, and Angola. The restructuring of international operations under three new core brands — Noatum Ports, Noatum Maritime, and Noatum Logistics — further strengthened its global footprint.
All business segments within the Group — including Ports, Economic Cities and Free Zones, Maritime and Shipping, Logistics, and Digital — played a role in achieving record-breaking revenue. This comprehensive approach allowed the Group to leverage synergies across its operations for greater profitability.
Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment and Chairman of AD Ports Group, noted that the Group achieved exceptional results by skillfully navigating challenges while capitalising on opportunities. He emphasised that AD Ports Group emerged as a key global player in 2024 due to its geographic reach and financial strength driven by UAE’s leadership vision.

Through a flexible business strategy focused on customer-centric solutions, AD Ports achieved organic growth while expanding internationally with new port terminals and maritime assets.

Khalifa Port was ranked 19th among the world's top 20 container ports for the first time by Drewry Maritime Research. This recognition underscores the growing global stature of AD Ports Group. Additionally, the Group received multiple international awards acknowledging its financial strength, investment performance, investor relations efforts, ESG programmes, workplace environment improvements, among other achievements.
The targeted inorganic expansion strategy adopted by AD Ports involves acquiring logistics, maritime, and port assets that enhance its integrated business model. This approach boosts customer value by expanding trade routes and logistics coverage while reinforcing connectivity anchored in Abu Dhabi’s core assets.
The growth experienced by AD Ports in 2024 was not solely due to international expansion but also resulted from increased profitability through synergies across its five business segments. This holistic growth strategy has positioned AD Ports as a formidable player on the global stage.
