The Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition, known as ACRES, has cemented its status as a leading real estate event in the UAE and the region. This year, it achieved a milestone with substantial property deals for showcased projects. Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) from January 22 to 25 at Expo Centre Sharjah, in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), ACRES 2025 recorded real estate transactions worth AED4.3 billion.

These transactions marked an impressive growth of over 207 percent compared to last year’s edition, while drawing more than 15,000 visitors. The exhibition featured over 110 exhibitors, including major real estate development and investment companies and top-tier property developers from across the UAE and the region. First-time participants were also attracted by the exhibition’s prominent status and stellar reputation.

The event saw significant participation from real estate agents, brokers, banks, financial institutions, architectural design service providers, legal consultancy firms, security solution providers, project management companies, and government entities. A diverse portfolio of real estate projects was presented, ranging from luxury residential units and modern villas to innovative commercial properties and land parcels.

This year's edition also introduced several new real estate projects making their debut in the UAE and beyond. Exhibitors offered exclusive incentives on various properties, including flexible payment methods and attractive pricing. They showcased state-of-the-art developments that incorporate the latest technologies and contemporary architectural designs.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of SRERD, highlighted that ACRES 2025 achieved remarkable milestones this year. SRERD recorded real estate transactions worth AED4.3 billion during the exhibition period. "This reflects the vibrancy and sustained growth of the real estate sector in Sharjah and the UAE," he stated. SRERD successfully processed 2,505 initial and final sales transactions during the exhibition.

Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, emphasised that this year's success solidified ACRES as a significant real estate event in the UAE and region. He noted that it played a key role in highlighting Sharjah's thriving real estate market. The decision by Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) to lower registration fees on sales during the exhibition positively impacted visitor turnout.

This strategic move encouraged developers to showcase their most innovative projects at the exhibition. The reduction in fees led to increased investor confidence in Sharjah's real estate market.
