ACRES 2025 Exhibition Achieves Record Participation With Over 110 Exhibitors Showcasing Real Estate Opportunities
The Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition, known as ACRES, is poised for its largest edition yet. Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) alongside the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), this event will feature over 110 exhibitors. These participants include major real estate developers and investors from the UAE and beyond. The exhibition will occur from 22nd to 25th January at Expo Centre Sharjah.
During a press conference at SCCI headquarters, key figures such as Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, and Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of SRERD, were present. Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Organising Committee of ACRES, also attended. The gathering included officials from public and private sectors and media representatives.

This year's ACRES will showcase innovative real estate projects debuting in the UAE. The exhibition covers residential, commercial, industrial properties, land parcels, and hospitality developments. It aims to attract intense competition among developers offering exclusive deals on their latest projects. The event spans an area of 10,000 square meters.
Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi highlighted that ACRES has grown significantly since its inception. He stated that the exhibition serves as a strategic hub for global real estate communities. "The exhibition’s success underscores the efforts made by the Sharjah Chamber," he noted. This growth is evident with a 35.6% increase in transaction volume in early 2024 compared to 2023.
The event's success is attributed to strategic partnerships with public and private entities. Nawaf Obeid, CEO of ACRES, mentioned that these collaborations aim to promote sustainable investment projects. Engineer Hamidi Al Ketbi from SDTPS emphasised their sponsorship's role in attracting investors by highlighting promising opportunities.
Alef Group's CEO Issa Ataya expressed pride in being a Platinum Sponsor for ACRES 2025. "Our annual participation reflects our commitment at Alef Group," he said. They plan to spotlight pioneering projects like Hayyan and Al Mamsha during the event.
Exhibitor Participation and Economic Impact
The Egyptian Real Estate Pavilion returns this year with extensive participation from leading Egyptian companies. They will present diverse projects across prime locations in Egypt such as New Cairo and North Coast. This inclusion highlights ACRES' international appeal.
Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi remarked on the significant participation from major developers this year. He noted that the return of the Egyptian pavilion adds value by introducing varied property projects to attendees.
Positive Outcomes Expected
The Sharjah Executive Council's decision to reduce transaction fees during ACRES is expected to boost investments further. In 2024 alone, real estate transactions reached AED 1.4 billion—a growth rate of 202.4% compared to previous years.
Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh stated that SRERD's involvement reflects its commitment to supporting Sharjah's real estate sector as a sustainable investment destination. The market saw substantial growth in 2024 with increased transaction values attracting investors globally.
Workshops and Expert Discussions
This year's exhibition includes expert-led panel discussions available in Arabic and English languages. These sessions will cover legal frameworks and best practices for property developers and buyers alike.
Engineer Raymond Khouzami from Al Thuriah Group expressed gratitude towards organisers for enhancing real estate growth through ACRES exhibitions. His company plans to unveil new projects offering freehold ownership during the event.
The exhibition promises significant positive outcomes due to several success indicators like reduced transaction fees announced by SEC officials earlier this year.
