Abu Dhabi Mobility Launches Online Charity Auction For Fathers’ Endowment Campaign

The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), under the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, has introduced an online charity auction called the Most Noble Number. This auction, which ends on 16th-17th March, supports the Fathers’ Endowment campaign initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The campaign coincides with Ramadan and aims to establish a sustainable fund for healthcare for those in need.

Bidding for this charity auction is available through the Emirates Auction app. All proceeds will contribute to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign's goals. This initiative is part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and allows individuals to donate in honour of their fathers, promoting values like compassion and solidarity.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the DMT in Abu Dhabi, emphasised that this campaign aligns with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's declaration of 2025 as the "Year of Community" under the slogan "Hand in Hand." He noted that it reflects the leaders' dedication to supporting those in need and fostering generosity.

The Most Noble Number online charity auction includes 444 special plate numbers. These include regular vehicle plate numbers such as 10 (plate code 20) and 99 (plate code 2), alongside motorcycle plate numbers like 5 (plate code 1). Additionally, there will be a unique collection of classic car plate numbers available.

Donations can be made through various channels. The campaign's website, FathersFund.ae, provides a platform for contributions. Alternatively, donations can be made via bank transfer to Emirates Islamic Bank using IBAN: AE020340003518492868201 in UAE dirhams.

There are also options for SMS donations by sending "أبي" or "Father" through du and Etisalat by e& in the UAE to specific numbers: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500. The DubaiNow app under "Donations" or creating a wallet on Jood.ae are additional ways to contribute.

This initiative not only honours fathers but also strengthens the UAE's reputation as a leader in humanitarian efforts. It reinforces charitable endowments while ensuring vital healthcare support reaches vulnerable individuals.
