Abu Dhabi Launches TAMM 3.0: A New Era Of AI-Powered Government Services

The Department of Government Enablement (DGE) has introduced TAMM 3.0 at GITEX Global 2024, marking a significant step in enhancing government services in Abu Dhabi. This AI-driven platform, developed with other Abu Dhabi government entities, aims to set a new standard in digital governance. It offers over 800 services through a unified app and portal, catering to citizens, residents, visitors, and investors.

TAMM 3.0 is part of the Abu Dhabi Government’s Digital Strategy and aligns with the UAE’s National AI Strategy 2031. The initiative seeks to improve public services using advanced technology and innovation. Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, stated that this launch is crucial for enhancing service delivery in line with Abu Dhabi's leadership vision.

TAMM 3.0: Abu Dhabi's New AI Platform

The platform provides a personalised experience for users through its AI-powered assistant. Known as TAMM’s AI Assistant, it supports conversational voice interactions in Arabic and English. This feature allows users to engage with the system using voice commands, offering 24/7 support while tailoring services based on user behaviour and preferences.

Advanced algorithms ensure that each interaction is relevant and efficient, whether renewing licences or accessing healthcare services. By analysing user data, TAMM 3.0 offers recommendations that enhance user-friendliness and efficiency across various government services.

TAMM Care has been upgraded within TAMM 3.0 to provide an improved customer experience. It includes responsive and proactive support modes powered by real-time dashboards and a Customer-360 view from Abu Dhabi Government’s Unified CRM. Live Support now features video and audio channels for direct virtual engagement with TAMM agents.

This expanded service reduces the need for physical visits while increasing customer satisfaction through focused guidance via video and audio channels. Screen sharing allows agents to efficiently resolve issues while maintaining privacy.

Innovative Service Delivery

TAMM Nexus was introduced to transform the Product Delivery Life Cycle within TAMM using AI across all phases like ideation and testing. This approach could increase speed, accuracy, and quality by up to 80%. By optimising each phase with AI, new features can be rolled out faster while maintaining high standards of quality and security.

Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director-General of the TAMM Programme, emphasised their mission to challenge norms and improve life quality for citizens and businesses in Abu Dhabi. "Our mission is to continuously challenge the status quo... ensuring that every touchpoint is user-friendly," he said.

Future Prospects

TAMM’s AI Assistant provides real-time responses by analysing vast data amounts for instant feedback and recommendations. This capability not only enhances user experience but also reduces administrative burdens on government entities significantly.

As DGE continues deploying TAMM 3.0, the platform will evolve further by incorporating new features that redefine digital governance possibilities. The launch at GITEX 2024 signifies a major milestone in Abu Dhabi's journey towards becoming a global leader in technology-driven governance.
