Abu Dhabi Introduces Its First Residential Rental Index For Transparency

The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADRC) has introduced the emirate's first residential rental index. This initiative aims to support tenants and property owners, improve market transparency, provide estimated rental values, and enhance the stability of Abu Dhabi's growing real estate market.

The ADRC stated that the index offers reliable and easily accessible data on residential properties. It also provides an estimated quarterly range of rental values for properties across Abu Dhabi.

The rental index will assist residents and international investors in understanding Abu Dhabi's rental sector practically. This will enable them to make informed decisions based on reliable data.

This new tool aligns with ADRC's commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction. It aims to achieve tangible value for all stakeholders, including investors, tenants, and property owners.

Rashid Al Omaira, Acting General Manager of ADRC, remarked: "The launch of the rental index will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the rental sector in Abu Dhabi and enhance the ability of the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi to attract international investors. He further explained that this initiative would increase the attractiveness of the real estate sector. It also supports efforts to create a more sustainable and flexible market by working alongside various stakeholders.

The ADRC plans to introduce additional indices, such as a commercial index and a service charge index. These upcoming indices aim to enhance the resilience and reliability of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector. This approach is part of ADRC’s broader strategy to solidify Abu Dhabi’s position as a premier destination for living and investment.
