Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Collaborates With Al Maryah Bank To Enhance Digital Payment Services
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has enhanced its digital services by collaborating with Al Maryah Bank to develop a digital wallet for the judiciary. This initiative introduces innovative payment solutions using the bank's stable digital currency, aiming to update the fee payment system and speed up digital transformation.
The agreement was signed by Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and Tariq Ahmed Al Masaood, Chairman of Al Maryah Bank. It aims to enable the use of bank-managed digital wallets like M Wallet and AEC Wallet as secure payment options that facilitate efficient transactions for clients.

The signing took place during Abu Dhabi Finance Week, an international platform showcasing financial innovations and banking technologies. This reflects alignment with national efforts to support the digital economy and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading financial hub embracing innovative financial solutions.
Yousef Al Abri highlighted that developing the digital payment system aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The focus is on enhancing judicial efficiency and adopting advanced technological solutions to improve service quality.
Al Abri also noted that expanding collaboration with Al Maryah Bank shows a commitment to building effective partnerships with leading institutions in the fintech sector. The next phase will see wider adoption of advanced digital technologies, enhancing service reliability and achieving sustainable digital transformation in line with Abu Dhabi Government’s future vision.
