Abu Dhabi Gears Up For The 20th International Hunting And Equestrian Exhibition

Preparations are in full swing for the 20th Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2024). This event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is a must-visit for hunting and equestrian enthusiasts, industry professionals, and families. The exhibition will run from 31st August to 8th September 2024 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

Organised by Capital Events, the events management arm of ADNEC Group, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX blends Emirati cultural traditions with innovative features. It aims to open new business opportunities, engage Emiratis of all ages, and showcase adventure and outdoor lifestyles.

ADIHEX 2024: Culture Meets Innovation

Visitors can immerse themselves in cultural exhibitions, traditional performances, and live historical displays celebrating the region's rich heritage. The event highlights Emirati traditions while introducing forward-looking elements that appeal to a diverse audience.

The Arena serves as the heart of ADIHEX, offering family-friendly attractions with multicultural, educational, and interactive shows suitable for all age groups. Each day's agenda includes various activities such as workshops, beauty competitions, auctions, and more.

As the largest event of its kind in the MENA region, ADIHEX will feature the latest technologies and trends across 11 distinct cultural sectors. These include equestrian and falconry, hunting and shooting, camping, tourism and safari, fishing and marine sports, arts and crafts along with many other sporting and outdoor activities.

A significant highlight will be the Falcon Auction. Attendees can learn about the UAE’s role in captive-breeding falcons as part of its commitment to wildlife conservation. For the first time ever at ADIHEX, bidders can participate online for premium falcons showcased in a special viewing area.

Interactive Shows

The ADIHEX Daily Family Show promises an action-packed experience for visitors of all ages. Featuring extraordinary performances that celebrate human-animal bonds through history. Highlights include the Abu Dhabi Police Showcase with their Musical Band and a crime scene reenactment demonstrating collaboration between the Equine Team and K9 Unit.

The Historical Battle and Archery on Horseback will feature Mamluk Archery and Kaber Stables showcasing traditional Ottoman battle scenes. The Wings of the Sahara Bird Show by Al Ain Zoo will display exotic birds in a mesmerising performance. Trick riding stunts on horseback will also captivate audiences.

Knowledge Hub

The ADIHEX Knowledge Hub offers live demonstrations and workshops led by experts on subjects like falconry, equestrianism, desert survival skills, maritime exploration, Emirati culture and heritage. These sessions provide valuable insights into various aspects related to these fields.

In addition to spectacular shows and demonstrations, visitors can network with industry experts. They can explore hunting merchandise and equipment while connecting with leading manufacturers and suppliers in the industry.
