Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority To Host First International EMS Conference In The MENA Region
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority is set to host the Abu Dhabi International EMS Conference from 25th to 27th November 2025. This event is part of their ongoing mission to improve emergency medical services and boost the capabilities of ambulance and emergency response teams across the region.
This conference, a first in the Middle East and North Africa, aims to underscore the significance of pre-hospital medical care. It will focus on keeping up with the latest advancements in ambulance services technology. The event also encourages sharing knowledge among global leaders and professionals while promoting scientific research.

An impressive lineup of doctors and experts will participate in a detailed scientific programme. This includes nine specialised training workshops for healthcare workers and first responders. Additionally, public workshops accredited by the American Heart Association will cover first aid and CPR training.
The conference will feature an Ambulance Challenge, where both local and international teams will compete in simulated emergencies. These scenarios are designed to test performance and improve readiness, providing a practical platform for skill enhancement.
The authority aims to create a strategic platform through this event, fostering collaboration among organisations in the ambulance sector. By promoting best practices in disaster management, it seeks to reinforce Abu Dhabi's status as a regional leader in emergency medical care.
By hosting this landmark event, Abu Dhabi hopes to enhance integration among entities involved in ambulance services. The conference is expected to facilitate the exchange of best practices in managing health crises, further solidifying its role as a hub for emergency medical advancements.
"This initiative comes as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance the emergency medical care system and to strengthen the readiness and capabilities of ambulance and emergency response services at both national and regional levels," stated an official from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.
