Abu Dhabi International Compak Sporting Championship 2025 To Be Held Under H.H. Sheikh Hazza's Patronage
The Abu Dhabi International Compak Sporting Championship is set to take place from 1st to 4th December 2025 at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. This event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region. It will gather top shooters globally, offering significant prize money.
The championship is organised by the Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office of the Supreme Council for National Security, in partnership with the UAE Shooting Federation and the Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse (FITASC). This collaboration aims to ensure the event meets international standards.

An agreement was signed between the Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office and FITASC to enhance their partnership. The signing ceremony included Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Shooting Federation; Mohammed Suhail Al Neyadi, Director-General of Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office; and Jean François Palinkas, President of FITASC.
Both parties emphasised the importance of this collaboration in promoting shooting sports and boosting the UAE’s global sporting presence. They noted that this championship is a significant event on FITASC’s international calendar, showcasing the UAE’s growing reputation for hosting major sporting events.
Beyond competition, this event serves as a platform for discovering and nurturing new talent. It underscores the UAE’s leadership in shooting sports while reflecting its rich heritage in hunting and defence. The championship highlights shooting as a traditional art form within Emirati culture.
Hosting this championship in Al Ain Region further enhances the city’s role as an emerging sports and tourism hub. It contributes to diversifying the UAE's sporting landscape, reinforcing its position as a key destination for international events.
