Abu Dhabi International Boat Show Highlights Partnerships And Latest Marine Innovations

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) 2025 commenced at the ADNEC Centre, showcasing its ambition and momentum. The event's opening day was marked by Abu Dhabi Maritime signing four significant Memoranda of Understanding. These agreements with ADNEC Group, Shory Insurance Brokers, Abu Dhabi Waste Master Company, and Special Olympics highlight ADIBS's role in fostering business, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

This year's edition is the largest yet, featuring 1,068 exhibitors and brands. The diverse exhibitor base includes 31% local and 69% international participants. This mix underscores Abu Dhabi's position as a gateway for global marine businesses entering the Middle East market. The show offers a comprehensive display of industry advancements and lifestyle trends.

Sunreef Yachts stands out with its eco-friendly luxury catamaran, the 55 ULTIMA. Displayed at the ADNEC Marina, this electric vessel sets new standards in sustainable yachting. Visitors can explore this unique model and learn about Sunreef's operations in Ras Al Khaimah. Invictus Boats also brings Italian engineering excellence with models like TT420, GT360, and TT460.

Ahmed Obaid Al Falasi's exhibit celebrates the UAE's maritime heritage through crafted wooden yacht models and full-sized vessels. This display merges tradition with innovation, showcasing skilled artistry that preserves wooden boat building's legacy. Al Falasi’s presentation highlights Emirati heritage's cultural significance and timeless appeal.

The Captains Club is a Diamond Sponsor at this edition of ADIBS. As one of the region’s largest boat clubs, it showcases membership offers and over 200 boats in its fleet. This reflects a shift towards accessible boating through club-based models. By focusing on community, The Captains Club redefines boating as an inclusive lifestyle experience.

At the Knowledge Box, Sebastian Lee from Al Seer Marine shared insights into their innovative journey in maritime transformation. Founded in 2003 in Abu Dhabi, Al Seer Marine has over two decades of experience. In 2023, they earned a Guinness World Record for creating Sukoon, a 12-metre electric water taxi built using 3D printing technology.
