Abu Dhabi To Host The 34th European Arab Medical Congress Focused On Healthcare Innovations

The 34th European Arab Medical Congress is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from 11th to 12th December 2024. Organised by the Emirates Scholar Centre for Research and Studies, a branch of the Emirates Science and Research Foundation, this event will be held at the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination's headquarters. The congress is supported by the European Medical Association and the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, emphasised the congress's role as a crucial platform for collaboration among healthcare leaders. He stated, "This congress aligns with our steadfast commitment to strengthening local, regional, and international partnerships and advancing infrastructure and expertise in medicine and social care." The event aims to showcase best practices and research to enhance the quality of life for People of Determination.

This year's congress will feature a comprehensive programme that addresses essential topics such as medical innovations, health technologies, global healthcare challenges, and improving healthcare service quality. Over 40 scientific sessions will cover recent advancements in medicine and technology. Interactive workshops are also planned to facilitate knowledge exchange among participants.

Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Director-General of the Emirates Scholar Centre for Research and Studies, highlighted that more than 50 prominent speakers will participate. He noted that over 500 attendees, including doctors, academics, and scientists, are expected. The congress provides an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and expertise while offering over 18 CME-accredited educational hours for professional development.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) and the Arab Med Union in Europe. It is regarded as one of the premier medical events that brings together leading experts from Europe and the Arab world to discuss current trends in healthcare.

According to Dr. Al-Humaidan, this scientific gathering will contribute significantly to showcasing best practices and research aimed at improving life quality for People of Determination. He expressed confidence that it would help achieve effective integration within society through enhanced medical services.
