Abu Dhabi To Host The Second Social Care Forum In September 2025 For Future Policy Discussions
The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Deloitte Middle East, is set to host the second Social Care Forum in 2025. This event aims to strengthen Abu Dhabi's status as a global centre for social dialogue. Scheduled for 24th and 25th September 2025 at Hilton Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, the forum will focus on "Future Ready Social Care: People, Practice, and Policy."
Key discussions will explore empowering talent, fostering innovation, and integrating modern technologies to enhance social services. The forum will highlight global trends and future developments in social care. It aims to improve quality of life by focusing on three pillars: empowering individuals, advancing professional practice, and reshaping policies for future needs.

The event will gather ministers, policymakers, local and international experts, social care professionals, government and private sector representatives, researchers, academics, and students. This diverse group will collaborate to build impactful partnerships that advance the social sector locally and globally. The forum aligns with Abu Dhabi's vision of creating an inclusive and sustainable social sector.
Panel discussions will feature ministers, social leaders, and specialists addressing crucial topics like proactive support programmes across life stages. These sessions will also highlight the voices of frontline workers and showcase innovative care models based on evidence. Discussions will cover the needs of children, youth, seniors, family systems strengthening, and data's role in shaping future policies.
This edition builds on the success of the inaugural forum in 2024. That event hosted over 40 speakers from around the world and produced key recommendations such as investing in human capital and adopting AI-driven solutions. The 2025 forum aims to turn these recommendations into actionable programmes that reinforce Abu Dhabi's role as a leader in advancing social care policies.
The forum supports reformulating community policies through digital innovation adoption and expanding social services with a focus on vulnerable groups. It also aims to enhance workforce competence and credibility in service delivery. This effort strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional leader in developing social care.
Strategic Initiatives for Future Growth
The programme continues strategic initiatives by the Department of Community Development aligned with the Year of Community aspirations. It seeks to translate visions into reality by reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role as a hub for advancing social care practices globally.
The event promises a comprehensive platform for collaboration among stakeholders at various levels. By doing so, it contributes significantly to the advancement of the social sector both regionally and internationally.
