Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship 7 To Feature Top Grapplers In Brazil This November

The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC 7) is scheduled for Sunday, November 17th, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A press conference at Riocentro on Friday offered fans and media a chance to hear from the athletes about their expectations for the event.

Rodolfo Vieira, one of the Grappling Main Event stars, expressed his excitement about competing in his hometown. "First of all, I’d like to thank ADXC for giving me the chance to be a part of this event. I never thought I’d see grappling reach this level and have this kind of structure behind it. I’m thrilled to be fighting in Rio de Janeiro and against Derek, who is a very tough opponent with great wrestling skills. I never fought under a ruleset like this one, so I’ve been training even harder for the upcoming match."

Paulo Miyao shared his enthusiasm about returning to Rio de Janeiro for the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event. He mentioned how he has been preparing for his match on Sunday. "I’d like to thank everyone who came here today and also the ADXC organisers. This is a great opportunity for me to compete in Rio de Janeiro again, it’s been almost ten years since I’ve been here to fight and this place just has a different vibe, so I’m very excited for the match. I’ve been trying to train a little bit of everything, but lately, I’ve been focusing more on my top game. Still, If I end up on the bottom, that’ll be great too."
