Abu Dhabi Exports Office And Strata Join Forces To Enhance UAE's Industrial Sector Competitiveness

A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX) recently visited Strata Manufacturing's headquarters in the UAE. This visit aimed to establish strategic partnerships with key Emirati companies in crucial sectors. Discussions centred on expanding collaboration to enhance industrial growth and boost the UAE’s global competitiveness.

Strata Manufacturing, known for its advanced composite aircraft structures, showcased its achievements in the global aviation sector. The company highlighted its role in advancing national industrial goals and increasing its contribution to the UAE’s GDP. ADEX also presented its innovative financing tools designed to help Emirati companies access international markets and strengthen their global competitiveness.

ADEX and Strata Collaborate for UAE Industry Growth

Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of ADFD and Chairman of the Exports Executive Committee at ADEX, led the delegation. He was accompanied by Khalil Fadel Al Mansoori, Director-General of ADEX. They were welcomed by Ismail Ali Abdullah, Executive Director of the UAE Clusters Unit at Mubadala and Managing Director of Strata Manufacturing, along with other senior officials.

Al Suwaidi emphasised the importance of supporting national companies that contribute significantly to economic diversification in the UAE. "Our visit to Strata Manufacturing reflects our commitment to supporting national companies that play a critical role in the UAE’s economic diversification," he stated. He praised Strata's success in advancing national industries and achieving global recognition as a testament to the UAE's vision for a sustainable economy.

Strata has adopted advanced technologies like robotics and artificial intelligence in manufacturing aircraft structure parts. This adoption enhances operational efficiency and ensures compliance with international standards. Al Suwaidi noted, "Strata stands as a leading example of a national company that has solidified its position in global markets."

The delegation toured Strata’s facilities, observing the production processes involving advanced composite materials. They interacted with Strata’s workforce, where Emiratis make up 67 percent of employees in key roles such as administration, technical support, and engineering.

Strategic Collaborations for Growth

Ismail Ali Abdullah expressed gratitude for ADEX's visit and acknowledged its role in fostering strategic collaborations across vital sectors. "This partnership enhances the quality and competitiveness of the advanced manufacturing sector," he said. He added that it aligns with their economic diversification strategy under the Made in the Emirates initiative.

Abdullah also highlighted Strata's pride in its success stories that reflect the UAE’s vision for economic growth and global industrial leadership. The collaboration between ADEX and Strata aims to further strengthen cooperation to achieve shared national goals.
