UAE: Abu Dhabi Department Of Energy And Aldar Team Up To Enhance Energy And Water Efficiency

In a significant move towards enhancing sustainability and efficiency in energy and water use, the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy has established a partnership with Aldar through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). During Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the agreement was sealed at the Department of Energy's pavilion, witnessed by key figures including His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Department of Energy. The MOU was signed by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Undersecretary of the Department, and Talal Al Dhiyebi, Aldar's Group Chief Executive Officer, highlighting the union of government and the private sector in pursuing environmental sustainability.

Al Rumaithi shared his vision for the partnership, stating, "The Department of Energy remains dedicated to forging and activating strong partnerships that positively and meaningfully impact the lives of the Emirate's residents and its infrastructure." He emphasized the commitment to upholding efficiency and sustainability standards, advancing environmental preservation, and managing natural resources judiciously.
