UAE: Abu Dhabi Department Of Energy And Aldar Team Up To Enhance Energy And Water Efficiency

During Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the agreement was sealed at the Department of Energy's pavilion, witnessed by key figures including His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Department of Energy. The MOU was signed by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Undersecretary of the Department, and Talal Al Dhiyebi, Aldar's Group Chief Executive Officer, highlighting the union of government and the private sector in pursuing environmental sustainability.

Al Rumaithi shared his vision for the partnership, stating, "The Department of Energy remains dedicated to forging and activating strong partnerships that positively and meaningfully impact the lives of the Emirate's residents and its infrastructure." He emphasized the commitment to upholding efficiency and sustainability standards, advancing environmental preservation, and managing natural resources judiciously.

Al Rumaithi also expressed his gratitude towards this strategic alliance with Aldar, viewing it as a pivotal step towards sustainable development and aligning with Abu Dhabi's strategic objectives on energy, sustainability, and environmental protection.
