Abu Dhabi Chamber Sets Up 54 Working Groups To Boost Private Sector
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has taken a significant step towards bolstering the private sector's growth and prosperity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by establishing 54 working groups under its Advocacy Hub initiative. This move aims to provide a robust platform for businesses to voice the challenges they face, discover innovative solutions, and actively participate in decision-making processes and legislation drafting that supports the business sector's expansion.
These newly formed groups, derived from the suggestions of private sector representatives, are noted for their diversity, innovation, and effectiveness. They are set to play a crucial role in aligning with the aspirations of private sector companies across various essential economic activities. Furthermore, these groups will act as a bridge for development ideas and proposals, enhancing communication between the private sector and government agencies. This initiative is expected to foster collaboration between the two sectors, thereby boosting the national economy's growth and competitiveness.

Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of the ADCCI, emphasized the alignment of these specialized working groups with the Chamber's mission to support and represent the private sector's interests in Abu Dhabi. "These groups will effectively represent the opinions and aspirations of entrepreneurs, businessmen, and investors across diverse and vital economic sectors within the Emirate," Al Qubaisi stated. He further highlighted their potential contribution towards supporting government efforts aimed at advancing the local and national economy's growth.
The formation of these working groups marks the first phase of an initiative that invited inputs from private sector companies across commercial, investment, and industrial fields. This initiative underscores ADCCI's commitment to engaging the private sector in decision-making processes within Abu Dhabi's business ecosystem. It aims to safeguard their interests, enhance competitiveness, and promote sustainable development within the emirate.
By establishing these working groups, ADCCI not only facilitates a constructive dialogue between the private sector and government bodies but also ensures that the business community's challenges are addressed comprehensively. This strategic move is poised to significantly impact Abu Dhabi's economic landscape by fostering an environment conducive to innovation and growth.
