Abu Dhabi Chamber And ADGM Forge Stronger Ties To Support Business And Investment Ecosystem

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has recently entered into a significant Collaboration Agreement with the Registration Authority (RA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), marking a pivotal step towards enhancing the business and investment landscape in Abu Dhabi. This partnership is set to catalyze growth and innovation within the emirate, focusing on the development of the private sector and financial services ecosystem. It aligns with the Abu Dhabi Government's directives aimed at national economic diversification.

This newly signed agreement updates and extends the previous partnership established in 2018, reflecting the evolving needs of Abu Dhabi's dynamic business environment. It encompasses various critical areas including registration and licensing for free zone companies, facilitating their integration into the Chamber, and promoting exchange of information, statistical data, economic reports, and marketing initiatives. The collaboration also emphasizes organizing forums and conferences to stimulate dialogue and uncover new business opportunities.

ADCCI & ADGM Boost Business Ecosystem

The agreement was formalized by Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of ADCCI, and Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, CEO of ADGM Registration Authority, at the Chamber’s headquarters. The ceremony was attended by numerous officials from both entities. Al Qubaisi highlighted the strategic importance of this collaboration in supporting Abu Dhabi's vision for economic diversification and establishing a competitive financial and business environment. He emphasized the role of ADGM as a major global financial institution in motivating such initiatives.

Al Qubaisi further elaborated on ADCCI's commitment to bolstering the growth of companies specializing in financial services, technology, and asset management. This effort is part of a broader strategy to attract more companies and foreign direct investments to Abu Dhabi, aiming to position the emirate as a top business destination in the Middle East and North Africa region by 2025.

On his part, Al Mazrouei expressed ADGM's dedication to enhancing Abu Dhabi's business ecosystem in collaboration with ADCCI.
