Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone Partners With MSM Logistic For Key Logistics Project

Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ) has unveiled a new warehousing facility in collaboration with MSM Logistic in Al Falah District, aimed at boosting the emirate's trade and economic growth.

The Al Falah District, situated east of Zayed International Airport, spans 8.3 sq km and is the largest free zone district under ADAFZ. This area features modern infrastructure and a well-planned urban landscape, making it attractive for investors in cargo, logistics services, light manufacturing, and the AgriFood Growth and Water Abundance (AGWA) cluster. The partnership involves developing a 28,623 sq m plot to provide flexible storage solutions for both local and international businesses in the logistics sector.

The project was officially announced at ADIPEC 2023 following the signing of a Musataha agreement. It represents a total investment value of Dh85 million. MSM Logistic is known for its expertise in designing and constructing industrial complexes. They are working with ADAFZ to create innovative solutions that align with the project's goals, focusing on operational excellence and leveraging their successful track record.

Wilson Chan, Senior Vice President of Free Zone Cargo and Logistics at ADAFZ, expressed his satisfaction with the project's progress: "It gives me great pleasure to see this project come to fruition. MSM Logistic aims to set a precedent as the first tenant at Al Falah District by paving the way for future leasable light industrial unit warehousing projects. This investment demonstrates MSM's dedication to the region and their use of established infrastructure to enhance the logistics sector.

The warehouse we are working on now will be ready to welcome our partners in Q1 2025 and will be the first to tie-in when the large-scale infrastructure project in Al Falah is in full swing.
