99 Percent Of Pavilions Already Booked For Abu Dhabi International Book Fair Scheduled In 2025

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) has revealed that nearly all pavilions for the 34th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) are already reserved. This announcement comes almost a month before the registration deadline of 24th January. The swift bookings highlight the enthusiasm of both local and international publishers to join this esteemed cultural event, showcasing the success of the Centre’s recent promotional efforts.

Scheduled from 26th April to 5th May 2025, the book fair will present an extensive programme with over 2,000 activities. These include intellectual seminars, panel discussions, workshops, and entertainment events aimed at engaging diverse societal segments. The decision to extend the fair to ten days from its next edition is intended to expand its initiatives and enhance its cultural and professional offerings.

High Demand for Abu Dhabi Book Fair 2025

The ADIBF management has encouraged publishers to finalise their registrations before the deadline. They emphasised that the overwhelming interest in participating underscores publishers' trust in ADIBF's significance as a major cultural platform both regionally and globally. This confidence is further bolstered by Abu Dhabi’s crucial role in advancing the publishing industry and promoting the Arabic language.

ADIBF holds a prestigious position within regional and international cultural circles. It serves as a central hub for leading publishing houses and notable figures from intellectual and publishing sectors worldwide. The fair is recognised as a key supporter of sustainability in publishing and culture, providing a venue for showcasing new publications and engaging with a broad audience.

The Centre incentivised early participation by offering a 10 percent discount on registration fees for publishers who booked between 29th July and 31st October. This initiative resulted in 79 percent of exhibition pavilions being reserved during this period. Such incentives have proven effective in encouraging early commitments from exhibitors.

The previous edition of ADIBF saw participation from 1,350 publishing houses representing 90 countries. These exhibitors showcased their latest works across various fields, catering to readers with diverse interests and age groups. This wide-ranging participation highlights ADIBF's appeal as a global cultural event.

The upcoming book fair aims to continue building on its reputation as a vital cultural destination. By extending its duration and enhancing its programmes, ADIBF seeks to further solidify its role in fostering cultural exchange and supporting the growth of the publishing industry.
