7X Unveils Wayn Digital P.O. Box Platform To Enhance Postal Services In The UAE

7X has introduced Wayn, a digital P.O. Box platform, to revolutionise postal services in the UAE. This initiative supports the nation's push for digital growth by offering secure delivery options for individuals and businesses. Wayn allows users to have a permanent UAE digital address linked to their physical location, verified through national ID or the National Economic Register (NER).

The platform ensures safe receipt of shipments from individuals, companies, and government bodies. It also handles letters, documents, and e-bills from authorised senders to combat cybersecurity threats like phishing and fraud. Users can choose delivery locations such as Emirates Post branches or authorised points, or opt for home or office delivery with the MyHome Package service.

Wayn provides a unified digital mailbox with automated archiving and categorisation. This feature helps users manage formal documents efficiently, reducing email archiving challenges. The platform also facilitates easy storage and sorting of essential files for convenient document exchange.

The launch event in Abu Dhabi featured key figures like Badr Al-Olama, Chairman of 7X; Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Cybersecurity Council; Mohammad Al Zarooni from TDRA; and Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of 7X. During this event, 7X signed strategic partnerships with TDRA and the UAE Cybersecurity Council to enhance digital security and customer authentication via the Secure National Digital Identity (UAE Pass).

The UAE Cybersecurity Council accredited Wayn as a "Secure Digital Communication Channel," recognising its role in advancing secure digital solutions globally. Al Olama stated that Wayn aligns with the national digital transformation agenda by providing pioneering solutions for digital natives and e-commerce users.

Dr. Al-Kuwaiti praised Wayn as a significant advancement in digital postal services. He highlighted its comprehensive security system using identity verification and encryption technologies to protect user data from cyber threats through integration with the UAE Pass.

Enhancing Government Services

Al Zarooni noted that launching Wayn marks a milestone in achieving the UAE’s strategic goals for digital transformation. The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority will support integration with digital identities to ensure seamless service delivery.

Abdulla Alashram emphasised that Wayn's introduction responds to global technological advancements. The platform reflects 7X's commitment to transformational products aligned with the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.

Future Prospects

Wayn offers a free digital P.O. Box address to all individuals and companies in the UAE, charging only for value-added services initially available to businesses before expanding to individuals. 7X continues investing in innovative solutions locally and globally to enhance user experiences and maintain its leadership in trade, transport, and logistics services.
