78 Judicial Officers Officially Sworn In By Abu Dhabi Attorney General Ali Mohammed Al Baloushi

A group of 78 judicial officers from six Abu Dhabi government entities has officially begun their roles after taking the legal oath. This ceremony, overseen by Counsellor Ali Mohammed Al Baloushi, the Attorney General of Abu Dhabi, marks the start of their duties related to administrative offences within their jurisdictions. Their responsibilities will be carried out following the relevant laws and regulations.

The initiative to grant judicial officer status to inspectors in various departments aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He serves as Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. This move aims to improve service quality across sectors and strengthen Abu Dhabi's competitive position.

Judicial Officers Sworn In by Attorney General

Ali Al Baloushi emphasised the importance of these officers setting a high standard in their duties. They are expected to contribute to service excellence throughout the Emirate, protect community interests, and address any improper practices that could impede sustainable development in different areas.

The Judicial Department is dedicated to training and qualifying candidates for judicial officer roles according to top international standards. This ensures that all audit and inspection activities comply with laws governing public services while maintaining proper oversight aligned with legal principles for correct legal procedure application.

The swearing-in ceremony occurred at the main headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. The officers represent six entities: TAQA Distribution, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the Department of Economic Development, the Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and the Department of Community Development.

The Attorney General encouraged these newly sworn-in officers to exemplify responsibility in their roles. By doing so, they will help ensure service excellence across Abu Dhabi while safeguarding community interests and addressing practices that may hinder sustainable development.
