The exhibition presents a vibrant visual landscape that reflects the growth of the fine arts movement in the UAE and beyond. It reinforces Sharjah’s reputation as a leading cultural and artistic hub. The event highlights both personal and communal artistic journeys, underscoring its importance in supporting artists and displaying their work.

During his tour, Sheikh Salem received detailed explanations from artists about their creations and techniques. This interaction emphasises the significance of EFAS’s annual exhibition in fostering artistic expression. Now in its fourth decade, it continues to be pivotal for artists locally and internationally.

This year's edition is organised by EFAS in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sharjah Museum Authority, and Sharjah Art Foundation. The exhibition features 50 artists from the UAE, including pioneers of Emirati fine arts, alongside participants from various Arab nations and international countries.

A specialised committee selected the artworks for this year’s exhibition. Members include Khalil Abdulwahid, Dr. Karima Al Shomely, Salma Al Marri, and Dr. Mohammed Yousif (chairman of EFAS). Their choices create a dynamic artistic tapestry that bridges tradition with experimentation.

The diverse array of artistic presentations underscores the importance of this annual event. It has been crucial in establishing Sharjah as a lasting centre for arts both locally and globally. The exhibition not only celebrates artistic achievements but also strengthens cultural ties across regions.
