ADNOC Awards AED 65.7 Billion In Contracts To Nearly 400 UAE Companies To Boost Economic Growth

ADNOC has awarded contracts worth AED65.7 billion to nearly 400 local suppliers, contractors, and service providers in the first half of 2025. This initiative aims to stimulate socioeconomic growth and create long-term value for the UAE. The contracts cover essential sectors like drilling, logistics, operational support services, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

The In-Country Value (ICV) programme by ADNOC is a key driver in prioritising local businesses. By doing so, it strengthens national supply chains and promotes private-sector growth. Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, Director of ADNOC's Commercial & In-Country Value Directorate, stated that these contracts highlight the programme's role in boosting economic and industrial development in the UAE.

Several companies have benefited from these awards, including NMDC Energy, Target Engineering, Al Dhafra Co-operative Society, Arab Development Establishment, Excel Astra Engineering, Robt. Stone, GISCO, and Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting. These awards underscore ADNOC’s dedication to engaging capable national suppliers who can deliver value across its operations.

Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi noted that the contract awards create a ripple effect throughout the economy by enhancing productivity and competitiveness while generating skilled private-sector jobs for local talent. He encouraged partners and stakeholders to collaborate with ADNOC to contribute to the UAE’s industrial growth journey.

ADNOC plans to inject an additional AED200 billion ($54.5 billion) into the UAE economy over the next five years through its ICV programme. By 2030, the company aims to locally manufacture products worth AED90 billion ($24.5 billion) within its procurement pipeline.

To enhance access to commercial opportunities, ADNOC has introduced the Make it with ADNOC mobile app. This app provides visibility into the company's purchasing needs and offers suppliers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs a clear pathway to leverage long-term commercial opportunities.

Encouraging Local Business Participation

Since its launch in 2018, ADNOC’s ICV programme has been pivotal in driving economic growth and creating private-sector jobs for Emiratis. Over 17,000 jobs have been created so far through this initiative.

ADNOC invites all local businesses—from established suppliers to emerging entrepreneurs—to engage with its procurement pipeline and contribute to the nation's prosperity. Interested parties can learn more about ADNOC’s commercial opportunities at their stand during the Make it in the Emirates Forum held from May 19-22 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi.
