VinFast Wins Double Awards At Indonesia International Motor Show 2024

JAKARTA, INDONESIA - At the heart of the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), VinFast emerged as a standout, clinching two prestigious accolades: "Favorite SEA Premier Launch" and "Best Booth Car". These awards mark a significant milestone for VinFast during its first-ever brand introduction in Indonesia, underscoring the company's burgeoning influence and reputation across the Southeast Asian market.

The Vietnamese automaker made a memorable entrance at IIMS 2024, presenting an extensive lineup of right-hand drive SUVs spanning segments A-E. The range included models VF 5, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9. This diverse offering secured VinFast the "Favorite SEA Premier Launch" award, a decision made by a panel of esteemed international journalists. The award highlights VinFast's accomplishment among 188 competing brands at the event.

Additionally, VinFast's debut was accentuated by its award-winning exhibition space, which was recognized as the "Best Booth Car" by the Awards Council. Occupying an area of 670 m2, the booth displayed an array of electric vehicles set against a backdrop of modern design principles. This setup not only showcased VinFast's commitment to electrification but also resonated with attendees' aspirations for a sustainable and intelligent transportation future.

Mr. Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo and organizer of IIMS 2024, expressed his pleasure in awarding VinFast with the "Favorite SEA Premiere Launch" and "Best Booth Car" titles. He noted that VinFast's official entry into the Indonesian market with a comprehensive range of right-hand drive electric vehicles underscores the brand's dedication to promoting sustainable transportation solutions.

Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, shared his pride in the company being one of the few brands to receive dual awards at IIMS in its debut year. He emphasized that this recognition affirms VinFast's commitment to advancing electrification efforts, meeting Indonesia's increasing demand for innovative mobility solutions, and making electric vehicles more accessible to all.

Prior to its success at IIMS 2024, VinFast had already achieved significant recognition at various international technology and automobile exhibitions.
