The partnership between VinFast and BAT was initially forged at the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 (COP 28) held in the United Arab Emirates, where both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to combat climate change, reduce carbon emissions, and decrease reliance on fossil fuels. The collaboration between VinFast and BAT is timely, aligning with Oman's ambitions to transition towards more sustainable transportation solutions.
