This venture is part of Škoda's broader strategy to enhance its global footprint and cater to the unique preferences of local consumers. Martin Jahn, Škoda's Board Member for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the importance of this new market entry. "Entering the Omani market is an important milestone for Škoda. Expanding our footprint in the Middle East strengthens our presence beyond Europe. We are excited about the opportunities this market presents and remain committed to delivering vehicles that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our Omani customers," he stated.

In partnership with Premium Motors, Škoda has inaugurated a digital showroom in Muscat, showcasing its commitment to innovative customer experiences. This showroom is equipped with an interactive digital configurator and an immersive digital wall, designed to provide a comprehensive, customer-focused experience.

Additionally, a motorsport corner highlights Škoda's rich heritage in racing, further enriching the brand's presence in Oman. The collaboration with Premium Motors aims to offer Omani customers access to advanced European automotive technology, exceptional customer service, and a broad product line-up.

The Czech automaker's initial offering in Oman spans a wide range of ICE models, from the performance-oriented Octavia RS to the flagship seven-seater Kodiaq, which boasts an all-wheel-drive option. The compact Kushaq, imported from India, is also part of the diverse SUV portfolio, benefiting from the geographical proximity between the two countries. These models provide Omani customers with a plethora of choices to meet their driving requirements and preferences. Looking ahead, Škoda plans to introduce electric vehicles to the Middle East, aligning with its long-term strategy.

To ensure comprehensive aftersales support, Škoda's Muscat location will feature an exclusive service centre with eight work bays. The company's commitment to Oman is further demonstrated by plans to open three additional showrooms and service centres across the country by 2029. This expansion aims to strengthen Škoda's presence in the region and enhance customer service.

Christian Nehme, General Manager of Premium Motors, highlighted the showroom's goal to revolutionize customer experience. "This showroom offers an entirely new level of customer experience. Every aspect of the space is thoughtfully integrated, from digital screens to the seamless coordination between our sales advisors and service team, to create a comfortable experience for our customers and deliver exceptional service. We are excited to bring this unique concept to Oman," Nehme said.

Oman's thriving automotive market, bolstered by a growing economy and a favorable business climate, presents significant growth opportunities for Škoda. With a population of around 4.5 million and a high vehicle ownership rate, the country is an attractive market for the automaker's technologically advanced and value-oriented vehicle offerings. Škoda aims to leverage its 130-year legacy of customer focus, quality, safety, and efficiency to meet the evolving needs of Omani customers and capitalize on the region's growth potential.
