UAE: Now You Can Remotely Inspect And Renew Your Vehicle Registered In Sharjah
In a significant step towards digitalization, the Sharjah Police, in collaboration with Rafid Automotive Solutions, has launched a pioneering service that allows the remote renewal and inspection of vehicles through a sophisticated smart application.
This initiative is aimed at private vehicles registered in Sharjah, specifically targeting those that are less than eight years old and have undergone a technical inspection in the past 18 months. It represents a substantial leap towards integrating technology into everyday services, enhancing both efficiency and user convenience.
The service streamlines the process of vehicle inspection and renewal by enabling owners to complete inspections remotely via the Rafid app. By utilizing the "Remote Inspection" feature, vehicle owners are required to follow a simple series of steps and upload detailed photographs of their vehicles. These photos must clearly demonstrate that the vehicles are free from any accident damage, thus obviating the need to physically visit inspection centers. This innovative approach not only saves time but also significantly improves the service quality offered to vehicle owners.
Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kai, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licencing Department at Sharjah Police, highlighted that this initiative aligns perfectly with the emirate's digital transformation ambitions. "This service is in line with the emirate's digital transformation efforts, which seek to enhance the quality of life by providing efficient and prompt government services," he stated.
