QFZ And AEMOB Forge Strategic Partnership To Drive Electric Vehicle Technology Forward

The Autonomous e-Mobility Forum (AEMOB) has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), setting a new benchmark in the global discourse on autonomous e-mobility. This collaboration is poised to take place in Doha, Qatar, from April 30 to May 2, 2024, positioning the AEMOB Forum as a leading platform for international dialogue in the sector of driverless e-mobility. The alliance aims to leverage QFZ’s pivotal role in promoting trade and investment, alongside Qatar's free zones' strategic benefits, to spur the growth and application of cutting-edge e-mobility technologies.

Abdulla Hamad Al Binali, QFZ’s Investor Relations & Technical Support Director, emphasized the alignment of this collaboration with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. He highlighted the focus on emerging technology to foster economic diversification and technological innovation within Qatar. Al Binali pointed out QFZ's recognition of e-mobility's vast potential and its commitment to hosting advanced technologies, including electric and autonomous mobility solutions. "We always aim to be at the forefront of digital future prospects, where new mobility solutions drive sustainable, smart cities and enhance environmental sustainability," Al Binali stated, underlining the partnership with the Ministry of Transport and AEMOB.

Ahmad Al Ansari, an Executive Committee Member at AEMOB Forum, reflected on the partnership as a demonstration of both organizations' dedication to fostering innovation and sustainable development. "By uniting global expertise and resources, we aim to fast-track the adoption of electric vehicles and autonomous technologies," Al Ansari remarked. He envisioned a future where autonomous e-mobility is not only accessible and reliable but also promotes environmental sustainability.
