Porsche To Continue In Formula E Championship Through To 2030, Embracing GEN4 Era

Porsche has confirmed its participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship until at least 2030. This commitment includes the upcoming GEN4 era, which will debut in Season 13 (2026/2027). The Stuttgart-based manufacturer will continue to be a key player in the all-electric racing series, ensuring its presence on the grid for the next generation of vehicles.

The GEN4 era promises significant advancements in energy efficiency, race performance, and safety standards. New features will include all-wheel drive activation at certain points during races, regeneration capacity reaching up to 700kW, and a power output surge up to 600kW. These innovations provide manufacturers with greater development opportunities and valuable insights for series production.
