Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi And Al Ain Install First Manthey Kit On 911 GT3 RS

Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain have made a groundbreaking move by being the first in their region to equip a 911 GT3 RS (type 992) with the prestigious Manthey Performance Kit.
The kit, a collaborative effort between Manthey Racing and Porsche, is approved by the factory and aimed at boosting the track performance of Porsche GT models without compromising their road legality.

The Manthey Performance Kit encompasses a variety of aerodynamic modifications that not only boost performance but also give the vehicle a distinctive appearance. The enhancement begins at the front with a modified spoiler lip featuring a larger wing profile and carbon fibre reinforcement. The addition of wheel arch Gurney flaps and dive planes on the bumper's sides increases downforce on the front axle, aiding in the car's stability and control at high speeds.

In the rear, the car receives a carbon fibre shark fin, inspired by the 963 model that triumphed in the World Sportscar Championship. This fin is mounted on a carbon fibre rear window panel, which is 25% lighter than its standard counterpart. Alongside a split carbon fibre DRS wing element, a broader rear diffuser, and aerodisc wheel covers, these enhancements collectively produce over 1,000kg of downforce at 285 km/h, significantly improving the car's performance capabilities.

Further improvements included in the Manthey Kit are semi-active coil-over suspension systems with adjusted spring rates, racing brake pads, and steel-sheathed brake lines for models equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). These upgrades not only improve the vehicle's performance on the racetrack but also allow for personal customization, making each car visually unique and as dynamic as it is aesthetically pleasing.

The installation of these kits is undertaken by Porsche-certified technicians, ensuring that the work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and authenticity. This achievement reinforces the leading position of Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in terms of innovation, performance, and customer service in the region, demonstrating their ability to bring world-class performance enhancements to their clientele.
