OMODA & JAECOO, a forward-thinking automotive brand, has announced the launch of its latest all-electric SUV, the OMODA E5. This new model follows the earlier introductions of the OMODA C5 and JAECOO J7 and will be available in the UAE market soon. Additional models are expected to follow.

The OMODA E5 has undergone extensive testing to ensure it can handle extreme conditions such as high heat, deep waters, and rough terrains. It successfully passed a flame test where it was exposed to temperatures up to 500°C for 130 seconds. This rigorous testing confirms its robust construction and suitability for the UAE's challenging climate.

Equipped with a 61kWh battery capacity and 80kW fast charging power, the OMODA E5 features a 28-minute fast charging Blade (LFP) Battery. Its Battery Management System (BMS) monitors battery status in real-time, ensuring optimal performance and safety under all conditions. The recent flame test validated its stability and safety under extreme heat.

OMODA & JAECOO's rapid expansion in the UAE aligns with the country's green mobility goals. The introduction of the OMODA E5 aims to accelerate the shift towards clean-energy vehicles. This new model highlights their commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The vehicle's design includes a 78% high-strength steel body composition, enhancing structural integrity and performance on unpaved roads. Steel constitutes about 65% of an average automobile's weight today and forms the backbone of vehicles. The secure door-sealing system also protects against water ingress even in deep-water conditions.
