Latest BMW X3: Sporting Appeal Meets Premium Comfort And High Tech

BMW has recently introduced the latest version of the X3, which offers even more appeal, visual impact, and versatility than before. According to the company, the new BMW X3 is designed to cater to various needs, including everyday use, leisure activities, and trips in the brand's core segment.

The fourth generation of this Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) for the premium midsize segment has a new design language that gives it a more striking exterior presence and an aura of dynamic grace. Inside the cabin, the new BMW X3 features high-quality materials, an improved standard specification, advanced digitalization, and the new BMW iDrive with QuickSelect based on BMW Operating System 9. All these elements contribute to the premium ambience of the vehicle.

Additionally, the new BMW X3 offers exceptional driving pleasure, safety, and long-distance comfort. It benefits from precise tuning of the overall vehicle setup and a wide range of semi-automated driving and parking systems.

With its modern aesthetics and enhanced product substance, the new BMW X3 aims to continue the success story of the model, which began 20 years ago. It played an instrumental role in the growth of BMW X models and became the brand's best-selling model in 2023.

The exterior design of the new BMW X3 is characterized by a new design language that gives it a monolithic appearance with distinct BMW X model proportions. It is longer, wider, and lower, resulting in a powerful and sporty look.

One of the standout features is the large BMW kidney grille on the front end, which exudes confidence. The optional BMW Iconic Glow lighting adds a continuous line around each element of the grille. The LED headlights feature L-shaped, overlapping light sources for the daytime driving lights, side lights, and turn signal indicators.

The new model's sporty silhouette is defined by bold side skirts and a roofline that extends deep into the rear end. The flared wheel arches create a sense of width at the rear, while the rear lights have a modern appearance with a characteristic T-shaped graphic and a horizontal bar with integrated turn signal indicators.

The new BMW X3 offers a range of exterior paintwork options, including one solid color and eight metallic shades, such as the new Dune Grey metallic finish.

Inside the cabin, the new BMW X3 combines robust functionality with ample space and a premium ambience. The cockpit features the BMW Curved Display, BMW Interaction Bar, steering wheels with a flat-bottomed rim, and a new-look gear selector lever. The center console and door trims also include light elements in a contrasting colour. The new BMW X3 comes with electrically adjustable and heated sports seats as standard, upholstered in Econeer. Optional upholstery options include Veganza and BMW Individual Merino leather.

The range-topping model, the BMW X3 M50 xDrive, is equipped with the most powerful six-cylinder in-line petrol engine ever fitted in an M Performance model. The 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo unit is combined with 48V mild hybrid technology. It delivers a maximum output of 398 hp and is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission and BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. The BMW X3 M50 xDrive can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
