MG Motor Middle East has introduced the MG4 Electric, marking a significant step in its sustainable automotive journey. Priced from $26,150 (excluding VAT), this electric vehicle aims to redefine EV ownership in the region with advanced technology, impressive performance, and affordability.

The MG4 Electric is built on the brand's new 100% Electric Modular Scalable Platform, combining agility with energy efficiency. This platform supports a dynamic driving experience while maintaining high levels of refinement and user-friendliness. The design concept, "Energetic Agile," integrates trendy elements with cutting-edge technology for a vibrant impression.

Variants and Performance

Three variants of the MG4 Electric will be available in the Middle East: COM, LUX, and XPOWER. The COM model features a 51 kWh battery offering up to 465 km WLTP range. The LUX variant extends this range to 530 km WLTP with a 64 kWh battery. The top-tier LUX version boasts a 77 kWh battery, ensuring an impressive range of 530 km WLTP. The XPOWER performance model covers up to 400 km WLTP.

The vehicle's high-performance rear-wheel drive system ensures stable acceleration and enhanced traction for superior cornering. Multiple driving modes—Standard, Sport, Custom, Snow, and Eco—allow drivers to tailor their experience to different road conditions and preferences.

Design and Interior Features

The exterior design of the MG4 Electric includes sophisticated elements like a carbon fibre effect diffuser, "Twin Aero" rear spoiler, and U-shaped headlights. These features enhance both aesthetic appeal and aerodynamic performance. The vehicle is available in various vibrant colours, including an exclusive green for the XPOWER version.

Inside, the MG4 Electric offers a minimalist cabin with integrated technology. A floating console houses features like a wireless phone charger, hi-tech shift selector, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The interior design follows a "Less is More" philosophy to create an open cabin space that enhances the driving experience.

Safety Features

The MG4 Electric comes equipped with advanced safety features such as DP EPS Electronic Steering System, One Box Brake System, and Zero Thermal Runaway Battery Protection. Its high-strength body structure ensures maximum safety for occupants. Additionally, rigorous testing included ten continuous mechanical impacts in each direction to ensure crash safety.

The MG Pilot system enhances safety further with multiple cameras and high-perception radars that monitor surroundings to support drivers in various situations. This comprehensive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite provides convenience and connectivity for a seamless driving experience.

The MG4 Electric incorporates intelligent technologies like a 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster. These features enhance convenience while providing essential information at a glance. The vehicle also includes comprehensive ADAS systems for added safety.
