Maserati To Spotlight MC20 And Special Editions At 2024 Goodwood Festival
From 11 to 14 July, Maserati will participate in the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event will feature a tribute to the MC20, a super sports car known for its innovative design. The MC20, launched in 2020 with the V6 Nettuno engine, stands out in both coupé and convertible versions. This car has become a star at major motorsport events worldwide.

At Goodwood, Maserati will unveil two special series of the MC20: the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda. Each series is limited to 20 units and celebrates Maserati's return to racing in 2004 after a 37-year hiatus. The special liveries of these cars are inspired by the MC12 Stradale and MC12 GT1 Vitaphone. They feature exclusive designs from the Fuoriserie personalisation programme, allowing fans to see them up close.
In the Supercar Paddock, the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda will be displayed alongside another iconic model: the MC12 Versione Corse. This car, developed in 2006 for non-competitive track use, boasts a powerful 755-hp V12 engine. An exclusive MC20 Cielo in Blu Victory will also be showcased. This spyder features a retractable glass roof and white Trident paint on the tonneau cover. Its metallic colour pays homage to the MC12 from two decades ago.
The MC20 Icona, MC20 Leggenda, and MC20 Cielo will participate in the Hillclimb event at Goodwood. This highlight of the festival sees classic and modern racing cars speeding up a 1.16-mile hill. Maserati's presence at Goodwood includes showcasing their latest model: GranCabrio Folgore. This is the first fully electric convertible in the luxury segment and is noted for its speed and stylish design.
The GranCabrio Folgore features an engine based on 800V technology with advanced technical solutions. It offers optimal performance wrapped in a distinctive design, making it unique among luxury convertibles. This stylish convertible seats four comfortably, making it ideal for long journeys. It will be displayed along Goodwood's Electric Avenue, attracting attention with its sporty yet comfortable design.
Maserati's participation at Goodwood underscores their commitment to innovation and performance. The display of these models highlights their rich history and future direction in motorsport and luxury vehicles.
