Saudi Arabia: Masarat Mobility Park Launches Premier Automotive Hub In KAEC Aligned With Vision 2030
The launch of Masarat Mobility Park in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) underlines a significant move towards enhancing Saudi Arabia's capabilities in the automotive and mobility sectors. Covering up to 2 million square meters, the park has already commenced the initial phase of its development, indicating a swift progression in its establishment.
This initiative, a collaborative effort involving TASARU Mobility Investments, Zamil Group Real Estate, Abdullah Ibrahim Alkhorayef Sons, and Dar Al Himmah Projects, represents a substantial stride towards realizing the objectives set by Saudi Vision 2030.
A key aspect of Masarat Mobility Park's mission is to uplift the Kingdom's reputation as a leading destination for automotive and mobility solutions, thereby contributing to economic diversification and industrial enhancement. The park's strategic positioning near the Red Sea, within the Special Economic Zone of KAEC, offers unparalleled multimodal connectivity.

This includes access to sea, air, and road transport services, along with future rail infrastructure plans. Such connectivity is poised to benefit automotive and mobility brands seeking to expand their operations across the Middle East, Africa, and European markets.
The initiative aligns with the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering industrial growth, reducing reliance on imported automotive products, and promoting local manufacturing. The establishment of the park is expected to create a multitude of job opportunities, particularly in automotive technology, logistics, and parts manufacturing.
This development not only aims to position Saudi Arabia as a pivotal regional hub in the automotive and mobility sector but also seeks to stimulate economic growth and job creation within the Kingdom.
Muhammad Alshiha, Chairman of Masarat, emphasized the significance of the park in a statement, saying, "The establishment of Masarat Mobility Park reflects PIF's commitment to partner with the private sector in attracting global automotive companies and in building a world-class automotive hub."
Empowering Local Talent and Attracting Investors
Furthermore, Masarat Mobility Park is committed to nurturing local talent and enhancing skills by establishing partnerships with both regional and international educational institutions. These collaborations aim to offer extensive training in the latest automotive technologies, trends, and best practices.
The goal is to equip individuals with the necessary skills for thriving careers in automotive manufacturing and automation. The park has already attracted initial commitments from several global automotive suppliers, indicating its potential as a hub for automotive excellence.
Tienie Ferreira, CEO of Masarat, expressed his pride in leading an organization that is shaping the future of the automotive and mobility industries in Saudi Arabia. He stated, "I am proud to lead an organisation shaping the future of the automotive and mobility industries in Saudi Arabia. We look forward to partnering with our customers and stakeholders alike in building a unique platform." This highlights the park's ambition to forge strong partnerships and create a distinctive platform for the automotive and mobility industries.
The park has also been certified eligible by the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) to commence operations within the KAEC SEZ, which further facilitates the attraction of investment under ECZA's supportive framework. This enables investors to efficiently set up and manage their businesses, thereby accelerating the park's growth and development within the competitive automotive sector.
