Rare Ferrari Owned By Led Zeppelin's Manager Heads To Auction

A rare and historically significant 1973 Ferrari 246 Dino GTS, once owned by Peter Grant, the manager of the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin, is set to grace the online auction platform, Car & Classic. This UK-delivered, right-hand drive vehicle stands out not only for its rock 'n' roll provenance but also as one of the mere 235 right-hand drive models that made their way to the UK market between 1972 to 1974.

Commissioned through the esteemed UK Ferrari distributor, H.R. Owen, the car was delivered to Peter Grant in a unique non-metallic 'Rosso Bordeaux' color and brown leather VM846 ('Marrone') upholstery, making it one of only 114 units ordered in this specification. Grant, known as the driving force behind Led Zeppelin from its inception to its dissolution, cherished the Ferrari for nearly three years, a testament to its allure and performance.
