Honda Launches First 5-Litre V8 Engine BF350 For The UAE Seafarers

Al-Futtaim Honda has introduced its first 5-litre V8 outboard engine, the BF350, aimed at the UAE's elite boating community and seafarers.

This new addition expands Honda's range in the UAE to 11 outboard engines, offering options from 2.3 to 350 horsepower. The launch underscores Honda's dedication to advancing marine technology and providing enhanced power, control, and fuel efficiency for various boating needs.

The BF350 boasts several smart features designed to enhance user experience and ease of use. These include Cruise Control, Automatic Tilt, and Trim Support. The Cruise Control feature allows for smooth sailing by expanding the adaptive speed range of conventional trolling control functions. Users can select Cruise Control on the display and adjust cruising speed on the control head as needed.

Honda Marine BF350 also includes VTEC™ Boost with a 60-degree, 5-litre V8 engine equipped with VTEC™ (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control). This delivers high performance and optimised power across various RPM ranges. Additionally, BLAST™ Mode provides instant acceleration from a standstill for quick starts and responsive handling.

The design of the Honda Marine BF350 is available in two colours: Aquamarine Silver and Grand Prix White. It features a slim silhouette that is both stylish and functional. The design includes three-dimensional chrome-plated logos and trims for a premium appearance. Engineered for low noise and vibration, it offers a rich sound that enhances the overall boating experience.

The new controller for the BF350 features an ergonomic design suitable for various grips and operations. It includes a 5-button multi-function panel and a high-visibility neutral position indicator. Enhanced with a leather grain finish, it incorporates DBW (Drive By Wire) for precise electronic engine response, allowing smooth control of multiple engines with a single lever.

The Honda Marine BF350 starts at Dh106,900. Customers can view it at Honda Showrooms across Dubai Festival City and Abu Dhabi Umm Al Nar.
