Haramain High-Speed Railway Achieves Milestone With Over 1 Million Passengers In Ramadan

This achievement represents a 22% increase in passenger numbers compared to the previous year, as reported by SPA. The railway, which serves as a vital link between the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, saw a total of 2,845 trips being conducted throughout Ramadan, marking a 12% increase from last year.

The surge in passenger numbers and trips is attributed to SAR's strategic operational plan for Ramadan, which aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Haramain High-Speed Railway.
