Now Book Electric Vehicle Via This App For Seamless Experience At Makkah Grand Mosque

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has rolled out a novel service aimed at enhancing the experience for visitors and pilgrims at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Through the "Tanaqol" application, now available on smart devices, individuals will be able to book electric vehicles for conducting the Tawaf and Sa'i rituals, fundamental components of the Islamic pilgrimage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this innovative service seeks to facilitate a smoother and more accessible journey within the sacred premises for all visitors, ensuring their focus remains on the spiritual aspect of their visit. To make use of this, individuals are directed to specific gates for the pickup and drop-off of these electric vehicles. The designated gates include Marwah Gate (Gate No. 25), Al-Arqam Gate (Gate No. 16), Ajyad Gate (Gate No. 5), and Al-Shabika Gate (Gate No. 66).

Additionally, for those who require wheelchair services during their visit, the authority has made provisions at designated areas. These are located in the Eastern Square (Al-Salam Gate No.19) and the Western Square (Al-Shabika Gate), directly opposite the Dar Al Tawhid Hotel, ensuring easy access for all visitors with mobility challenges.

The Tanaqol application, central to availing of this new service, is readily available for download across various on iOS and Android platforms. This ensures that a wide range of visitors, regardless of their device preference, can access this service with ease.

The introduction of electric vehicles within the Grand Mosque premises through the Tanaqol app represents a significant step forward in enhancing the logistical aspects of performing the sacred rituals of Tawaf and Sa'i.
