Geely Auto Achieves Record International Sales In 2024's First Half

Geely Auto Group has reported its sales data for the first half of 2024, revealing a total of 955,730 vehicles sold. This marks a 41% increase compared to the same period last year. Overseas markets showed remarkable performance, with Geely International sales reaching 197,428 vehicles, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of over 67%. This growth rate is a new historical high for the company.

Overseas Growth a Key Pillar

The substantial expansion in Geely's overseas business highlights the company's dedication to its globalisation strategy. Geely continues to focus on "high-value global expansion," systematically improving its global presence through advancements in product development, service quality, channel expansion, and supply chain optimisation.

With the acceleration of Geely's global expansion and enhancement of its international influence, the company has achieved high-quality market share in multiple countries. As of 31 May 2024, Geely ranked among the top three Chinese brand vehicle sales in 14 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the Philippines.

Coolray SUV's Global Success

The Coolray SUV has set new standards for "hot hatch" models domestically and become a top choice for B-segment SUVs internationally. In the first half of 2024, Coolray ranked among the top three Chinese brands in terms of sales in its segments in seven countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Qatar and Panama.

Geely's flagship model Monjaro also set a new record for overseas sales in the first half of 2024. Monjaro ranked among the top three Chinese automotive brands in five countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Middle East Market Performance
