Dubai Taxi Fleet Hits 6 000

Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, stated, "The award of 300 new plates is a key part of DTC's fleet expansion strategy. In 2024 our fleet has grown by approximately 10%, reaching nearly 9,000 vehicles across all our segments, which include taxis, limousines, buses, and motorcycles."

He added that their investment in growth, innovation, and customer-centric solutions solidifies their position as Dubai's leading transport operator. The expanded fleet is projected to generate an additional Dh100 million annually.

Of the newly acquired plates, 25% will be designated for electric taxis. This decision highlights the company's dedication to sustainability. Al Falasi noted that this initiative is part of their strategy to transition towards innovative low-carbon mobility solutions and support Dubai's net zero emissions target by 2050.

The increase in fleet size not only boosts revenue but also demonstrates the company's commitment to enhancing its services to meet growing demands. The strategic move aims to cater to the emirate's expanding transportation needs efficiently.
