Dubai South And AGMC To Launch $136M State-of-the-Art Automotive Facility

Dubai South, recognized as the most extensive single-urban master development, has recently announced a significant partnership with AGMC, the esteemed automotive dealer. This collaboration marks the launch of a new showroom and service centre in Dubai South, with an investment of AED500 million ($136.13 million). This facility is set to cater to the patrons of luxury automotive brands such as BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce among others. The agreement was formalized in a ceremony attended by notable figures including Sheikh Sultan Ahmed Mohamed Al Qassimi, Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties. Also present were Jan Felton, Managing Director of Al Batha Group, the parent company of AGMC, alongside senior executives from both entities.

The upcoming facility promises to set a new standard in automotive services. Spanning 33,000 square metres, it will not only showcase vehicles from BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce and other prestigious brands but also include a fully-fledged service centre. This centre aims to offer comprehensive after-sales and maintenance services to its clientele. Its strategic position at The Business Avenue, near the VIP Terminal and Al Maktoum International Airport, provides seamless connectivity to major roads like Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Jebel Ali Free Zone, and Expo Road.

Khalifa Al Zaffin expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with AGMC, highlighting it as an expansion of AGMC's presence in Dubai South. This move follows the establishment of BMW Group Middle East’s Training Centre in the area. Al Zaffin emphasized Dubai South's dedication to providing an advanced infrastructure and unique ecosystem that meets the dynamic needs of businesses. Jan Felton also shared his optimism regarding this venture aligning with the UAE Leadership's Vision by offering top-notch facilities and services to customers. He extended gratitude towards Sheikh Salim for his unwavering support and encouragement towards investments.
