Dubai Police Adds Three New Mercedes-Benz Vehicles To Luxury Patrol Fleet
Dubai Police recently unveiled the latest additions to its luxury patrol fleet, introducing three Mercedes-Benz vehicles. These vehicles, notable for their cutting-edge sustainable transport technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities, mark a significant upgrade to the force's operations, especially in enhancing the tourist experience in Dubai.
The fleet expansion includes the Mercedes SL 55 AMG, the GT 63 AMG, and notably, the EQS 580, an electric model that epitomises the shift towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly policing methods.
These vehicles are equipped with the latest in vehicle technology, from mechanical advancements to AI-driven systems that provide interactive displays. This technology offers real-time information to ensure optimal performance and handling, reflecting Dubai Police’s commitment to incorporating modern technology in their operations.
The ceremonial launch of these vehicles was led by Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation. The event saw the participation of key figures such as Colonel Omar Al Mutawa, Lt. Colonel Muhammad Abdulrahman, and representatives from Mercedes-Benz, including Thomas Schulz, Ali Gargash, Fadi Ballout, and Khalid Al Mazroui.
Brigadier Al Hajri highlighted the enduring partnership with Gargash Enterprises, the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz, which facilitated the acquisition of these luxury patrol cars.
He pointed out that such collaborations are vital in enhancing the visibility and effectiveness of police presence in Dubai's key tourist areas, including the Burj Khalifa and JBR. By continuously updating their fleet with the latest models, Dubai Police aim to improve their service quality and reinforce safety in these high-traffic destinations.
The strategic alliance between Dubai Police and Mercedes-Benz was further emphasized by Thomas Schulz. Schulz remarked, "We are proud of this strategic cooperation with Dubai Police and of adding these new vehicles to their luxury fleet. It highlights the depth of partnership between both sides in pioneering sustainable and modern mobility solutions."
